The cutting unit is used to complete the production process and cut the product into the required size. The cutting unit generally includes:
Cutting and trimming the edges;
Longitudinal cutting unit;
Thickness band saw;
Cross cutting unit.
Trimming unit
The trimming unit is used to cut the rock wool board, and after solidification furnace and cooling, both sides reach the final width and have smooth side faces. The machine is intended to crush the cut-off material: the ground-up product is sent to the forming chamber mixed with new fibers. The material will not pass through the fan, so they have high durability. Transport can also be done using appropriately designed conveyor belts.
Longitudinal cutter unit
The longitudinal cutter unit is used for material cutting to obtain the desired size of the final product.
Thickness band saw
The thickness band saw is used to cut two or more layers of felt from a single felt in thickness on the rock wool production line. The advantage of this procedure is that it reduces the operating speed of the rock wool production line and obtains lower thicknesses and densities.
Cross cutting (cutting machine)
The cross cutting unit is used to cut products into the desired length. Any density panel is usually cut using a rotating blade saw with one or two cutting heads, which is cut clean, without dust or irregularities.
The heating roller (insulation material online veneering device) of the rock wool production line steams and dust. Depending on the veneer material used (with or without pre-coupled plastic film), the plastic film is melted by an electric roller for bonding, or bonding can be performed at a lower temperature, but propylene adhesive or water glue needs to be added. The veneer can only be applied to the bottom or two sides of the product.
Automatic rolling up of mattresses or felts.
The operator can select the compression ratio suitable for the type of production, so the software ensures the perfect uniformity, compressibility and roundness of the rolls. The "wrapping" machine wraps the roll automatically with plastic film or paper from the outside.
A special thermal-shrink system seals the rolls at both ends. Depending on the type of plastic film, the cover layer can be partial or complete.
The packaging unit is the last part of the mineral wool production line.
The production process ends with the packaging of the materials.
Different packaging systems are proposed to meet the needs expressed by the customer. During unloading by the stacker crane, the packaging is automatically wrapped and heat-shrinked with polyethylene.
During the packaging process, compression packaging can be performed according to the density to reduce its volume and transportation costs.
